VISSION

Creating art can be a complex process, akin to ancient alchemy, sometimes sparked by beauty, horror, or emotion. The end product is always unique to the artist. At Bangiya Kala Kendra, our primary goal is to support living artists. We understand that the best way to do this is by fostering their careers, helping them find their voice, and connecting them with others who appreciate their work and are willing to support it financially.

The pursuit of creating impactful and memorable art is often a lifelong journey and a deeply personal expression. For many, it requires years of practice and dedication in relative obscurity. Feedback is scarce, constructive criticism even rarer. Embarking on this path offers no guarantee of success; indeed, success often arrives late in an artist's life, if at all. At Bangiya Kala Kendra, we aim to change this narrative.

Our mission is to balance the yin and yang in the Art World. In essence, we strive to assist artists in creating exceptional art and gaining recognition while they are alive. Simultaneously, we aim to help art enthusiasts and collectors—collectively referred to as the 'new art consumer'—discover and support emerging talents. Together, we form an exclusive international community of creatives and art lovers united in the pursuit of exceptional art.

Who is the new art consumer? This individual, regardless of age or wealth, responds to storytelling, embraces forward-thinking design, and seeks to curate their life with cultural experiences and meaningful interactions. They navigate the digital world with ease but cherish real-life experiences. While discerning, they are not elitist and recognize that taste and a sense of quality are innate qualities. Above all, they seek connection and purpose in their decision-making, and they value community.

This emphasis on community is paramount. In a digitally-driven and often divided world, community has never been more vital. Artists and new art consumers alike rely on one another. We must celebrate and invest in each other, both online and offline. As an organization and community, Bangiya Kala Kendra is dedicated to seeing, listening, and caring.
